Viewing DICOM images in Mac - OsiriX

DICOM is a file format for medical imaging which is used worldwide to store patients' CT scan, MRI scan, etc. Why is it related to Mac Beginner? Not really. In the old days i worked in the medical industry, i heard of a Mac software called OsiriX many times, recommended by many medical professors. Some even wanted me to create a similar software in Windows!


According to the AppStore: "OsiriX is an image processing software dedicated to DICOM images produced by imaging equipment (MRI, CT, PET, PET-CT, SPECT-CT, Ultrasounds,...)." OrsiriX App is an awesome freeware which i guess all medical practitioners should at least take some time to learn about it. I was very impressed by the many advanced features such as rendering CT in 4D!
